2011 N.C. 2A Football Conference Standings

Welcome to my power ratings and conference standings page. I will be updating
these records by every Thursday night during the season. To determine the
predicted point spread for a game, simply take the difference between the two
team ratings, and add 2 points for the home team.
These ratings are based on several factors, including win-loss record, schedule
strength, and margin of victory in games. The most recent games are counted
with slightly more emphasis than those played earlier in the season. Forfeits
and games against non-NC teams are reflected in the records, but are not
included in the power ratings or strength of schedule rankings.
Notes:
1) NW Halifax has been banned from the playoffs this season for having at
least 3 ejections in a brawl during a game earlier this season.
2) 2A Maiden has forfeited a win to 3A St. Stephens for use of an ineligible
player.
3) 2A Eastern Randolph defeated 2A Bartlett Yancey by forfeit.
4) 2A Central Davidson has forfeited 4 victories to 2A East Davidson, 2A
Thomasville, 2A Bartlett Yancey, and 3A Ledford, due to use of an ineligible
player.
