2023 FCS College Football Power Ratings

Last updated: Tuesday, January 9, 2024 - final ratings I will be updating this page by each Monday night during the season. These ratings are based on a mathematical formula which includes several factors, including win-loss record, schedule strength, and margin of victory in games. The most recent games are counted with more slightly emphasis than those played earlier in the season. The strength of schedule ranking shown here is vs. all opponents and is the ranking among the 128 FCS teams in these ratings only. To see the strength of schedule ranking among all 261 Div. I teams, please refer to the overall ratings or alphabetical ratings pages. The strength of schedule ranking reflects only games played so far during the season, not future opponents. SS = strength of schedule ranking among all 128 FCS teams in these ratings (1 is strongest and 128 is weakest) * = ineligible for postseason play ** = ineligible for conference championship and postseason play
