2011 N.C. 2A Football Power Ratings

Last updated: Sunday, December 4, 2011 - final ratings

These ratings are based on several factors, including win-loss record, schedule
strength, and margin of victory in games.  The most recent games are counted 
with slightly more emphasis than those played earlier in the season.  Forfeits
and games against non-NC teams are reflected in the records, but are not
included in the power ratings.

Notes: 
1) 2A Owen forfeited a win to 2A Brevard for use of ineligible players.
2) 2A Maiden forfeited a win to 3A St. Stephens for use of an ineligible player.
3) 2A East Lincoln forfeited a win to 1A Bessemer City for use of an ineligible player.
4) 2A Eastern Randolph defeated 2A Bartlett Yancey by forfeit due to Bartlett
Yancey not having enough players.
5) 2A Central Davidson has forfeited 4 victories over 2A Bartlett Yancey, 2A
East Davidson, 2A Thomasville, and 3A Ledford, due to an ineligible player.
* After the conclusion of the 2011 season, it was found that 3A Hickory had
used an ineligible player during the entire season, forcing them to forfeit all
of their wins.  2A Maiden gained a forfeit victory.
